Tuesday Tip: Jot It Down!

jot it down!I am a true multi-tasker. My mind is always running. Thinking about what needs to be done at work, what I’m going to make for dinner, errands I have to run, kids to pick up, chores to do, craft ideas to make…shall I go on?

The best companion to my busy brain is a small notepad that I carry with me all the time. Every time I have a creative idea or am reminded of something I need to do, I jot it down. It’s better than sticky notes because it’s bound so I don’t have individual notes everywhere. I keep it by my bedside at night so that those end-of-day thoughts can be written down and I don’t have to worry about remembering them in the morning.

First thing I do in the morning when I sit down to work is to check my notebook and add all those little items to my planner.
