How to Organize Your Purse

Over the Door Adjustable Purse RackThis blog post is for the ladies out there.  As the seasons are changing, now is a common time to change purses.  Follow these steps to start fresh and organize your purse today:

  1. Pick your Purse – The first step is to choose which purse you will be using.  If you are shopping for a new purse, look for one with several pockets or dividers.
  2. Empty and Sort – Empty everything out of your current purse and sort through the contents one at a time.  Make three piles – Keep, Toss, and Put Away.
  3. Divide – For your purse to be organized, you need to group like items together.  This is where a purse with several pockets or built-in dividers comes in handy.  If your purse has just one or two large compartments, consider purchasing a purse organizer.  It drops right into your purse and provides several compartments for things like keys, phone, wallet, pens, checkbook, etc.  The added benefit of a purse organizer is that you can easily switch purses by just lifting the organizer out and putting it inside another purse.
