Ode to the Sticky Note

sticky_noteOde to the Sticky Note
Oh little yellow wonder
So square and clean and bright
Oh little piece of paper
On whom I often write
Just the right amount of stickiness
To stay where you are stuck
Just the right amount of stickiness
To leave behind no muck
You help me do my shopping
And organize my desk
You keep me from becoming
So lost in all the mess
You decorate my monitor
You beautify my door
From my dash you whisper
β€œDon’t forget – buy more! ”
Where would I be without you
My beloved sticky friend
To this tiny scrap of paper
My devotion knows no end

…..as I use you all the time along with your sisters and brothers, I appreciate the fact your family comes in many colors!
    Thank-you, sticky note!

While these stick-it notes help you organize, my desk is flooded with them. I have to find a better solution.

I use mine as a mini note pad! Rather than having them sticking all on my desk, I simply leave them stuck as one and flip the page!

I have a very simple appointment book that I found at TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Marshall’s carry them cheaply in July for the coming year.
I believe the company is Gallery. Made in Maine. Has leather cover and just the right amount of space to write.
I read on the internet to do the post it note thing on a file folder. One side for business the other for personal. Of two.
Well, you write the post it note on the to do side and then take it off. This does not stress you out like a to do list which is so long.
The calendar journal fits nicely in my pocketbook and is not huge like a day-timer.
Then things do not look so over whelming.
