7 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

musicB.L. Ochman tagged me on a “Seven Things You Didn’t Know About Me” meme. So here goes!

1) In 42 years, I’ve moved 23 times.

2) I love music. Choir was my passion in high school. My friends and I used to go Christmas caroling in four part harmony the middle of the mall this time of year just because the acoustics were so good.

3) No matter how much we have or don’t have, in up-times or down, I LOVE shopping second hand stores!

4) I hate drinking water.

5) I learned to play the violin in second grade, the guitar in fifth and the piano in eleventh. To this day I can’t pluck a note on any of them.

6) I’ve cut my own hair for the last 12 years.

7) If I were to attempt a mid-life career change, I would either make jewelry or cut hair. Or both.

    Very carefully – lol!

    I watched a video made years ago by a fellow homeschooling mom who had gone to beauty school, on how to do some basic hair cutting techniques. And then I practiced. A lot. And I use a three way mirror so I can see the back of my head. And I always paid attention and asked a lot of questions when other people cut my hair, too.
