5 Tips For Organizing Your Pampered Pet
June 16, 2011
Do you own a pampered pet? Maybe two, three, or more? If you do, then he/she is very much a part of your everyday life, and it’s important to include the pet in your overall organizing plan for yourself or your family. Here are some ways you can organize your pet’s stuff:
(1) Use an old plastic container or wicker basket as a central holding point for the pet’s toys. Place it in a spot where the pet spends a lot of his time, and a spot where he can reach inside the container easily to get the toys. At the end of the day, you can make a round of the play area with container in-hand, picking up the pet’s toys and putting them back inside the container. Continue Reading
Your Kids Understand the Economy Too
June 8, 2011
As parents, we sometimes don’t give kids the credit that they deserve when it comes to understanding things. Those little ears are always open and they absorb a lot more than we think. Organizing Gift Ideas for Dad
June 7, 2011
With Father’s Day right around the corner, many of you are looking for a great gift idea. Why not help him get more organized? Here are my top five gift ideas to get the dad in your life more organized:
For the “Golfer Dad” – A Golf Organizer Rack would be a great addition to his garage. There are different versions available, so look at the features. In addition to providing him a spot to store his bag with clubs and his shoes, it should also have shelves or bins to store extra balls, tees, and other accessories.
For the “Handyman Dad” – Consider a tool chest. You can purchase a stand-alone model or you can invest in a garage organizing system such as FreedomRail or StoreWall. You can choose to put this on one wall or the entire garage. You can focus on just tools or you can create a garage organization system to handle tools, sporting goods, lawn care, etc. There is a lot of flexibility with these systems.
For the “Grill Master Dad” – A barbeque tool set would make a great gift. Not only would he have all the tools he would need, but he would also have a place to store them.- For the “Gadget Dad” – A charging station is just what this dad needs! It keeps cords hidden and gives him one spot to store and charge all of his gadgets. Some of these charging stations also serve as a valet as well, where he can store his wallet, glasses, change, etc.
For the “Computer Dad” – A desktop organizer or a new laptop bag would be a great fit for this dad.
I hope these ideas help to inspire you. Whatever you choose, I’m sure he will love it. Most importantly, set aside some time and enjoy the day with the dad(s) in your life.
